Southern Breakfasts

Every one of our guest are special to us, and we want everyone to feel like they are “spoiled rotten” when they stay with us. One way we strive to do that is to have you experience a real southern breakfast. Wake up to the smell of sausage sizzling or buttermilk biscuits baking.

We are happy to accommodate special breakfast requests for those looking for a lighter fare or that have unique dietary needs. Just let us know during check-in or you can leave a note in the “Notes” section when you book your online reservation.

Food Philosophy

We believe that the best and freshest food is what’s grown closest to us, so we support farmers’ markets, family farms, and other sources of sustainably grown food in our area to be as farm to table as possible. We use sausage and eggs from local farms, and everything we use is all natural. We use real butter and cream and the freshest ingredients.

Southern Style Sausage Gravy & Biscuits

Come hungry when this is served! This sausage gravy is made “low & slow” and you will be amazed at the depth of flavors. It is a “stick to your ribs” breakfast! Served with berry yogurt trifles and scrambled eggs with Havarti.

Peaches & Cream Stuffed French Toast

When summer times rolls around we take a trip out to visit our local peach orchard.  These juicy peaches make one delicious breakfast you’re sure to remember. Served with fresh sausage from a local farm.

Strawberry Shortcake Pancakes with Bourbon Whipped Cream

Strawberry Shortcake Pancakes with Bourbon Whipped Cream served with Applewood Smoked Bacon and Scramble Eggs with Havarti. We like to go pick strawberries at a local farm to make this delicious dish, and we also have a blueberry pie version of this as well.

Twelve Oaks: Heaven On Earth!!!

Did we mention leisurely pampering? Breakfast was served each morning in the dining room downstairs and over the course of our stay included: Sausage gravy and biscuits, stuffed French toast, and a quiche that was to die for. If ever there was a time and occasion that would be my choice for when the Lord would take me, it would be while eating quiche at Twelve Oaks! What a way to go!!!Jim & Stephanie Patton
